Which quality setting to use
The setting controls the image resolution. For a standard US Letter page (8.5 × 11 inches), the images come out at these sizes:

Higher settings make sharper images and larger files. Medium suits most uses; choose High if the page has small print you need to zoom into.
Why convert a PDF to images?
- Share on social media or chat: apps like Instagram can't show a PDF, but they can show a JPG.
- Add to slides or documents: drop a page into PowerPoint, Google Slides or Word as a picture.
- Upload where only images are allowed: some forms accept JPG or PNG but not PDF.
- Make a thumbnail of a report or flyer for a website.

Frequently asked questions
Is my PDF uploaded anywhere?
No — the PDF is read and rendered entirely inside your browser using a JavaScript PDF engine. It's never sent to a server.
Can I download all pages at once?
Each page gets its own download button so you can grab exactly the ones you need. For a lot of pages, downloading one by one is the tradeoff of everything staying local to your browser.
Why does a page look blurry?
Try the "High" quality setting — it renders each page at a higher resolution before converting to JPG, which produces a sharper image at the cost of a larger file.
Will the text in the JPG be selectable?
No. A JPG is a picture, so text becomes part of the image and can't be selected, searched or copied. Keep the original PDF if you need the text.
Can I convert a password-protected PDF?
Not until it's unlocked. Open it with the password in a PDF reader, save an unlocked copy, then convert that copy.
