Frequently asked questions
How do I play?
Choose 2, 3, or 4 players, then pass the device around. Tap "Roll Dice" on your turn, then tap a highlighted token to move it. By default, rolling a 1 or a 6 brings a token out of your yard onto the board — adjustable in Settings.
What happens when I roll a 1 or a 6?
By default those are the yard-exit rolls, so you get to roll again right after your move — you can turn this off, or change which roll(s) count, in Settings. Rolling the same one of those three times in a row forfeits the rest of that turn (also adjustable).
How does capturing work?
Landing exactly on a cell with an opponent's token sends it back to their yard — unless that cell is a safe square (marked with a star), or the opponent has two tokens stacked there forming a block you can't land on.
Can I change the rules?
Yes — open Settings to choose which roll opens a token from the yard (6 only, 1 or 6, or 1 only), whether that same roll grants an extra turn, what happens on three of that roll in a row (forfeit the turn, send your furthest token back, both, or neither), whether capturing a token or reaching Home also grants an extra turn, the blocking rule, extra star safe-squares, whether the final move into Home needs an exact roll, and Quick Mode (2 tokens per player instead of 4, for a faster game). Different groups play with different house rules, so adjust it to match yours.
Who wins?
The first player to get all of their tokens Home wins immediately — that's the standard rule, matching how most Ludo apps and physical boards play it.
Can I play against the computer?
Yes — turn on "Play vs Computer" in Settings, pick your color, and the computer plays every other color. You can also just play local pass-and-play with 2 to 4 people sharing one device.
