What is Net Run Rate?
NRR = (runs scored ÷ overs faced) − (runs conceded ÷ overs bowled). It's used to rank teams level on points in a tournament table.
Why does "overs" need a separate balls field?
Cricket overs are 6 balls each, so "19.3 overs" means 19 overs and 3 balls — not 19.3 in decimal. Entering overs and balls separately avoids that mix-up and converts correctly (19 + 3/6 = 19.5 decimal overs).
What happens if a team is bowled out early?
Under ICC rules, if a team is dismissed before facing their full allotted overs, their full allotted overs are used in the calculation instead of the overs actually faced — turn on "All out" and enter the allotted overs to apply this correctly.
